Keeping Children Safe (KCS)
 Covering all the Highland area, the aim of Keeping Children Safe (formerly known as the Highland Child Protection Voluntary Sector Forum) is to build on the past good practice and trust that has developed within agencies working in partnership in relation to child protection needs.
Our comprehensive and tailored programme can be delivered to all providers with a responsibility for chidren's safety providing training that is valid, accessible and delivered through a range of methods to large and small voluntary agencies e.g. child care and family support providers, sports groups, youth clubs etc.
A certificate of Basic Child Protection Awareness is issued to those who attend the training.
Keeping Children Safe represents the voluntary sector on the Lead Officers' Group of the Highland Child Protection Committee and can also offer advice on many aspects of Child Protection.
